The Living End (U.S.A.) (FEAT: SHAUN KAMA) – All Lit Up! (E.P.) [1993]

June 7, 2010 2 comments
Hey there Kids, Mods, And Rockers!!! Today I have a real treat for you. For those of you from L.A. CA, You already know who THE LIVING END are. See folks this is not that faggy band from AUST.(I always hated those dumb asses) This was the band former Hello Disaster front man Shaun Kama formed. When Hello Disaster tossed him out. What a bunch of dumb fucks they were. I know the whole story cause im friends with members of Hello Disaster and Shaun Kama. And let me tell you Shaun is the only one doing stuff still today.

Well, back in 1992 Shaun mailed me the Living End Demo, It was a 3 track tape and had 3 great songs. Nobody not even Shaun thought that things were going to take off the way they did. I would say within 6 months this band was headlining every major L.A. club.

Then they dropped the 1st EP(ALL LIT UP!), which is the post you are reading. And from there on out the band was thee major Horror rock band at the time. And the only one from L.A., So The Living End went on …

GBH – Perfume And Piss [2010]

April 3, 2010 1 comment
After 30 years in the game, England’s original punks GBH are back to reclaim the streets with a brand new riotous release, Perfume and Piss. Barn-burning, fist-pumping, palace-gates-storming tracks carry the torch forward with the band’s trademark fury that is nihilistic, optimistic, pessimistic, anarchistic, violent Punk Rock. (2010)

Groovie Ghoulies – Appetite for Adrenochrome [1989]

April 1, 2010 Leave a comment
The Groovie Ghoulies were an American pop punk band formed in Sacramento, California whose music took inspiration from horror movies. They released numerous albums, EPs, and singles, and toured internationally. The band’s name was taken from the 1970s animated television series Groovie Goolies, a spinoff of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (itself a spinoff of The Archie Show).

Though the group’s lineup fluctuated significantly throughout their career, bassist/vocalist Kepi remained a constant fixture. Guitarist Roach (and lead singer Kepi’s wife) was also a longtime member. The Groovie Ghoulies’ music is best classified as pop-punk and is heavily influenced by early punk groups such as the Ramones and The Dickies, 1960s garage rock and bubblegum artists such as The Troggs and The Monkees, and 1950s rock and roll artists such as Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis. Throughout their career the Groovie Ghoulies recorded cover versions of songs by several of these artists as well as othe… Read more.

The Varukers – Murder [1996]

April 1, 2010 Leave a comment

Still Bollox, But Still Here! Enfiaram o pé na estrada e ficaram 3 anos em turnê, passando por grande parte da Europa, Japão, Austrália e EUA.

Em 1997, finalmente… Read more.

Agent Orange – Virtually Indestructible [1996]

March 27, 2010 2 comments
The Original Southern California Punk/Surf Power Trio, Agent Orange has been around since forever. Never bought in, never sold out. Blazed a musical trail so wide that imitators had no trouble driving right up the middle of it in an armored truck full of major label ca$h. Still flying under the radar after all these years, with a loyal following that’s always one step ahead. Hooked up all over the world, but always looking for someplace else to go. 100% guaranteed to make your ears ring. Expose yourself to Agent Orange’s Fullblown-Supercharged-Punk-Surf-Grind, and you’ll never be the same. C’mon down front, and have some fun!
