The Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space are an austrian horrorpunk band that formed in 2002. The music is full of reminiscences of psychobilly and influenced by persons like Tobe Hooper, Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento as much as from bands like Nekromantix, Mad Sin and Use to Abuse.
BZFOS usually deal humorously with themes and stereotypes from popular horror-b-movies (such as zombies-, mummies- and mass murderertokens, cemetery-fete-phantasies or draculas preferred car)
The members of BZFOS adhere to pseudonyms and attitudes, which they usually express at concerts. According to their statement, they come from the distant planet Transilvania and arrived at the earth to flood the people with the music of evil, called rock’n’roll. Furthermore they want to play the most bloody rock’n’roll on earth.
Their albums were published by the label Fiend Force Records. Read more.

In early 1995 Joel “Hooch” Parkins started a rockabilly band with his two friends “Creepin’” Jeff Sheppard and some other guy.
They played the “Z” circuit clubs of rural Ontario for about a year with much success. Riling up the plowmen and women of tobacco country is no small feat but they seemed to hold a power over them, forcing them to drink more and more booze until the farmers were unable to tend to their fields. Many crops were lost due to the Matadors in those years. Eventually the band would be boycotted on the rural circuit. The field workers feared, and rightly so, that if the MATADORS were allowed to play in their presence again, all would be lost.
So the boys headed into London, Ontario to ply their trade in the urban pubs. The crowds were untamable and reckless in the city. The Matadors set bar revenue records every night of the week.
Dozens of Matador-esque bands would pop up and then suddenly dissolve in frustration every day. Yet somehow, it wasn’t enough fo… Read more.

Graveyard Shift formed in the summer of 2001 in a basement in the suburbs of Seattle, WA initially to re-kindle the ashes of a dying scene left by bands such as Los Gatos Locos, and The Spectres. They began writing dark rock and roll and tales of horror. Little did they know the path it would lead them. Nicky Nightmare (drums), Ben Grimm (bass), and Murder Mike (Vocals), who were friends from previous bands, began searching for a unique guitar sound. They found none other than guitarist Chainsaw Chad, whose eerie licks would bring their sound to a whole darker level. Two tracks from which were to be issued on a compilation CD for a short-lived independent label. In August 2002 they issued the split-release, Mutilated Melodies with New Mexico’s 12 Step Rebels and in October 2004 joined the Dead Body Wreckerds family for their full-length debut, Rest Without Peace.

The Matadors have been around for along time now, Hooch has seen his fair share of bass players and drummers come and go but one thing has always remained, for what they do that are great at it. So, for any Matadors fan here is a cool little treat! These are the original demos for the songs that would become there “Sweet Revenge” album. Recorded in June of 2005 in Creepin’ Jeff’s basement by Chris Nelson who recorded The Matadors Live @ Call The Office cd. The first track A.T.M. is unreleased as it didn’t make the album and ultimately was scrapped and parts of it were used for another song. You’ll also notice if you’re a fan that the lyrics and title of Rock and Roll Freakshow were changed from the original title of Rock and Roll Creepshow due to the fact that The Creepshow was invented and was a band that eventually started touring with The Matadors. These demos are without and lead guitars or back up vocals and are unm…
